Dentsu ANZ has announced the appointment of Annalise Brown as CMO who will commence her new role from September 6.
Brown will be responsible for the awareness and understanding of dentsu and its brand portfolio: Carat, iProspect, dentsu X, Merkle, BWM Isobar, Haystac, Cox Inall, MKTG and SMG and the Group go to market strategies.
CEO of dentsu ANZ, Angela Tangas, said Brown is an ideal fit for the role of CMO, owing to her deep experience in PR, marketing and the agency landscape – most recently owning and operating her own consultancy.
“Annalise has more than 20 years’ experience working with brands to develop communications strategies across a broad range of industries, including retail, financial services and not-for-profits.
“Having built a career focused on amplifying brands in the earned and owned space, Annalise is passionate about creating meaningful connections with varied audiences, and I know she will make an incredible impact for our clients, as well as profiling and celebrating the work we do to the wider market.”

Prior to joining dentsu, Annalise has held the roles of CEO at Frank (part of the enero Group), MD of Bang PR (part of M&C Saatchi), MD of Porter Novelli Australia (part of Clemenger Group), as well as stints at Splendid Communications Group and Spin Communications.

Brown will join the dentsu ANZ leadership team and commences in the role full time from September 6.
