David King will continue his tenure with SEN, committing to the network for an additional two years.
King has over a decade of service with SEN, providing insights to listeners and leveraging data to show an analytical view of the modern game and how each team stacks up against the numbers.
King’s recommitment means listeners can expect to hear plenty of debates as he continues to go head-to-head with Kane Cornes on Fireball Friday each week as part of the SEN Breakfast lineup.
King will remain a key pillar on SEN during football season, continuing the ‘Monday Means Test’ on Whateley, dissecting all the action from the weekend’s round of footy, along with guest appearances on Crunch Time (Saturday 11am – 1pm) throughout the year.
SEN chief executive officer Craig Hutchison said he was looking forward to King continuing to deliver great insights on SEN in the new year.
“David has been a fixture of SEN for many years, and we are thrilled that he’ll continue to entertain our audience across a variety of platforms.
“Kingy brings the insight of a two-time premiership player and is one of the game’s most knowledgeable figures around patterns and trends. The Monday means test is must listen for footy fans and the industry alike.
“And his dynamic with Kane and the entertainment and character he brings to Friday makes for really enjoyable content.”
David King said he was delighted to remain on the SEN airwaves and work alongside some of the influential talent.
“I’m excited to continue football conversations with all SEN listeners for another two years, in consultation with Gerard Whateley and Kane Cornes. the Yin and Yang of SEN.”
King’s recommitment comes after SEN announced last month that Nathan Buckley also signed on for two more years of SEN.
Buckley will remain heard each Monday morning on SEN during the next two footy seasons between 6 and 9am. He’ll also remain alongside Gerard Whateley each Tuesday morning from 9am during Whateley.
