SCA’s chief content officer, Dave Cameron, has celebrated the radio network’s achievements nationwide.
Cameron said the results make its Hit and Triple M radio duopoly “not only the fastest growing group in the country but also the most successful.”
“We have a greater share of people 10+ than any other radio network and in the key buying demo of people 25-54, and that’s a testament to the amazing talent and teams we have across the country,” he said.
Cameron said their national numbers show the power and strength of both networks working together.
“To have two outright number ones in Triple M Adelaide and Mix94.5 Perth, and a third outright number one Monday – Friday with Triple M Brisbane, makes today a very special day for our stations and shows.”
Cameron also highlighted The Fox Melbourne with Fifi Fev & Nick in Breakfast as a “powerhouse” show that has achieved impressive breakfast slot results since 2012. He also acknowledged the efforts of Triple M’s Marty Sheargold Show in its results for survey seven.
Cameron called the radio duopoly of Hit and Triple M “unbeatable” on a national scale and added that results are more impressive when added to its 89 regional stations and the immense popularity of our shows streaming and on podcasts on LiSTNR.
“It demonstrates the sheer power and absolute competitive advantage of SCA,” he said.
Breakfast share for The Fox’s breakfast show with Fifi, Fev and Nick was up 1.5 to 11.0%, which is the best in at least eight years. It’s also a share that would have Fifi, Fev and Nick ranked #1 in many other survey periods. Morning, drive and evening shares were also big Fox improvers in this survey. The network has also consolidated its leadership under 40 while its share 18-24 is more than double KIIS in second place.
