Cricket Australia has extended its partnership with MKTG Sports + Entertainment for two more years in time for the start of the 2023-2024 summer cricket season.
The extended partnership solidifies MKTG’s position as the exclusive sales agent for all in-stadia media for Men’s international cricket and the supply and operation of stadia media infrastructure across the summer for International Cricket and the Men’s and Women’s BBL.
CA and MKTG have collaborated for 20 years to deliver stadia media infrastructure across at least 17 venues nationally. This collaboration encompasses over 100 cricket match days over 100 matchdays each summer, with over 20,000 content files delivered through MKTG’s award-winning content management system, Stadia Media.
Stephanie Beltrame, Cricket Australia’s executive general manager, broadcasting and commercial, said MKTG Sports + Entertainment has been instrumental in enhancing the fan experience, grow the value of its commercial assets and expertise in media infrastructure and content development.
Matt Connell, MKTG Sports + Entertainment managing director said the extension signifies the success of their past collaborations and opens new avenues for creative and innovative ventures.
As both organisations look ahead to the future, the extended partnership reflects their shared commitment to excellence and innovation in sports entertainment.
This deal extension comes after Cricket Australia, along with Prime Video and Whooshka Media revealed the Australian Original docuseries The Test will return for its third season, earlier this month.
The Test Season Three will pull back the curtain on the Australian men’s cricket team, giving viewers behind-the-scenes access and never-before-seen footage of the 2023 Ashes series. This season also covers the 2023 ICC World Test Championship Final, which the Australian team won.
