Returning to screens for the first time in over a decade, Celebrity MasterChef Australia is back with a new crop of famous faces, ready to test their mettle in the MasterChef kitchen when the series premieres on Sunday, 10 October at 7.30pm on 10.
As always, the contestants will be under the watchful eye of judges Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen.

Bringing together the highest of achievers in their chosen fields, the competition will be a culinary showdown for the ages, pitting Olympic champion against football great and TV Week Gold Logie winner against international fashion designer. There’s ‘Eurovision royalty’, TV, radio and comedy favourites, famed actors and an AFL icon, all of whom are ready to don their aprons and reveal what further talents lie within.
In the kitchen they are a mix of home-cooks and passionate entertainers, but all 10 competitors enter the fray to set themselves a personal challenge like no other. Here they will be mapping new territory, learning new tricks, and making new friends as they bond through a shared love of food.
At stake is the Celebrity MasterChef Australia title and trophy, and $100,000 to support their chosen charity.
MasterChef Australia is Australia’s most successful cooking competition. In 2020, the series took home the AACTA Award for Best Reality Program, its fourth win in the highly coveted category. It was also lauded as the Most In-Demand Reality Series at the Global TV Demand Awards in 2021.
The Contestants
Taking to the kitchen this year are acclaimed Aussie actors, Rebecca Gibney and Matt Le Nevez, renowned fashion designer Collette Dinnigan, gold medal Olympian Ian Thorpe, Korean-born Australian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist performing artist, Dami Im, radio host Chrissie Swan, comedian Dilruk Jayasinha, Australian professional football legend Archie Thompson, and AFL champion and Fox Footy presenter Nick Riewoldt.
And finally, ready to face the heat in the kitchen, is British TV presenter and daughter of internationally renowned, multi-Michelin starred chef Gordon Ramsay, Tilly Ramsay.

MasterChef Season 13
Earlier this year, The second night of the MasterChef Grand Finale had 824,000 viewers as Justin Narayan was named the winner of the 2021 iteration of the show. 931,000 tuned in for the announcement of the winner as the show was the top non-news program of the evening and was #1 in all key demos.
In the finale Peter Gilmore, the master of grand finale pressure tests was on hand with 80 points up for grabs. The contestants would have five hours to cook two dishes simultaneously. There was savoury squid noodles, a shiitake custard and koji butter sauce dish from Peter’s restaurant Quay and a brand-new golden crackle dessert from his restaurant Bennelong.
