The KIIS Network’s national drive show Will & Woody has undergone a transformation as Woody Whitelaw is battling it out in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here jungle.
Kicking off from Monday 17 April, Will McMahon will be joined by Australian journalist and television presenter Brooke Boney. The limited edition KIIS Network Drive Show, Will & Brooke Boney, promises to bring high energy, banter, gossip, daily news, and celebrity interviews.
Of the new gig, Brooke Boney says, ”I’m so excited to bring a very small but much needed degree of maturity into the Will & Woody show. Whilst Woody is away, Will and I will take great pleasure in laughing at him in the jungle from the comfort of our plush radio studios. I don’t have half the amount of food intolerances as Woody, so the show’s snack game will definitely improve, and I promise that I’ll continue to prank Woody’s dad, Steve, on Woody’s behalf.”
Of his new partner-in-crime, Will McMahon says, “I have always been such a huge fan of Boney and it will be an honour sharing a desk with her. She is a very talented broadcaster and I know the Will & Woody family will welcome her with open arms.”
Boney is a face (and voice) familiar to many in her current role as Today’s Entertainment Presenter for the Nine Network. With a background in political journalism, Boney has previously worked for National Indigenous Television (NITV), SBS, and the ABC.
Boney has been at the forefront of youth culture since she began working in media in 2010, and as a proud Gamilaroi woman, has spoken a lot about what it’s like to be an Aboriginal person in Australia.
Will & Brooke Boney can be heard on KIIS 1065, KIIS 101.1, KIIS 97.3 and Mix102.3 from 4-6PM, on 96FM from 5-6pm or via the free iHeartRadio app from Monday 17 April.
