Dropping 0.5 points for a 12.2% share, Nova has jumped from second place in the last survey of 2022 to kicking off 2023 in first.
The breakfast team of Ash, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill have also jumped to #1 breakfast show after a lift of 0.1 points, with a share of 13.2%. Nova continues to dominate the drive slot despite a drop of 1.2 points, with the national team of Kate, Tim and Joel – with Ricki-Lee filling in for Kate Ritchie over the survey period – finishing with 16.0%. Nova has remained #1 in 10-17, but have lost 18-24 to B105 after dropping 7.5 points in the demo.

With a drop of 1.3 points, B105 has come in as #2 overall station in the Brisbane market with a 10+ share of 11.7%. This is the station’s strongest survey one result since 2018.
The breakfast show of Stav, Abby and Matt have dropped 1.3 points, coming second in the daypart with a 12.5% share after spending the last two surveys as #1 breakfast.
It’s a similar story in drive. Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little have dropped a point for a share of 11.5%, keeping them second to Nova. The station has remained #1 in 25-39, and picked up the top spot for 18-24.

Leapfrogging Triple M after coming in fourth last survey, KIIS have started the year with a lift of a point. The station’s 10+ share of 10.8% is its best survey one result since 2020.
In breakfast, Robin, Terry & Kip have lifted 1.2 points for a 10.7% share. In drive, Will and Woody have lifted 1.6 points for a total of 11.3%.

Triple M has dipped 0.7 points for a total share of 9.8% this survey. The Big Breakfast with Margaux, Marto, and Dan Anstey has dropped 0.8 points to also record a total share of 9.7%. The drive show, The Rush Hour with Liesel, Liam & Dobbo is down 0.4 points to 10.6%.
Triple M’s strongest demo is 18-24 where it has a 14.8% share.

It’s been an interesting year for 4BH. In survey one of 2022, the station recorded a 10+ share of 1.9%, lifting this year to 8.4%. 4BH felt a major impact last year, gaining listeners after 4KQ became SENQ.
This survey, breakfast with Bob Gallagher was up a point, bringing the show to a total share of 8.0%.
The station is #1 in the 65+ demo, where it has a 21.1% share.

Cume has lifted 8,000, up to 29,000. Breakfast with Pat and Heals is up 0.9 points for a share of 1.2%.
The frequency previously operated as 4KQ, but ACMA broadcast regulations meant ARN had to divest the Brisbane AM licence after the acquisition of Grant Broadcasters. In its last survey as 4KQ – survey five last year – the station had a share of 10.2% and a cume of 304,000.
