Nova has remained in the top spot in Brisbane, lifting 0.6 points for a 10+ share of 11.2%. The station has seen a big lift in cume, rising 84,000, meaning that Nova 106.9 has risen a total of 118,000 since the beginning of the year.
The breakfast team of Ash, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill lost the #1 ranking to B105 in the last survey, and haven’t quite managed to claw the title back, coming in at 11.5%. Nova continues to dominate the drive slot with the national team of Kate, Tim and Joel rising one point for a total share of 14.4%. Nova has remained #1 in the 10-17, but has lost the 25-39 demographic, now coming second to B105.

KIIS 97.3FM has continued to correct some of the initial drop off that occurred with its rebranding to KIIS, which saw it lose 2.7 points in survey 1. This survey saw KIIS rising 1.7 points and lifting from fourth to second overall with a stare of 10.8%. In breakfast, Robin, Terry & Kip have gone from outright #3 commercial show in Brisbane to equal #3, with a rise of 0.6 points bringing them to 9.9% – the same as Triple M breakfast. In drive, Will and Woody have had a very strong result, rising 2.6 points for a total of 10.2%, bumping them up to #3 drive show in the market.

After ACMA broadcast regulations meant ARN had to divest the Brisbane AM licence after the acquisition of Grant Broadcasters, 4KQ has a new owner in SEN. If all goes to plan, completion is expected on July 1, 2022, and 4KQ will become SENQ.

In its second last survey as 4KQ, the station has seen a lift of 1.3 points for a total share of 10.7%. Breakfast with Laurel, Gary & Mark has lifted 1.5 points, bringing the show to a 9.6% share. The station remains #1 on weekends and continues to play well to the older demographics by remaining #1 in 55-64 and 65+. In the 65+ demographic, 4KQ has lifted 5.3 points for a share of 27.4%.

With a lift in cume of 69,000, B105 has recorded a total cume raise of 125,000 over the last two surveys. The station has slipped from #2 to #4 this survey, however the difference between #1 Nova and B105 is only 0.6 points. The station’s breakfast show of Stav, Abby and Matt has kept its #1 placing after gaining 0.3 points in this survey, finishing at 11.7%. Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little have remained at #2 in their daypart with a share of 10.7% The station has remained #1 in 25-39, and picked up #1 in 18-24

Triple M Brisbane has risen 1.8 points, a strong performance after recording its worst result in over five years in survey 1. The Big Breakfast with Marto and Margaux has moved up to an equal #3 spot in the daypart after gaining 2.2 points, tying them with KIIS. The drive show, The Rush Hour with Liesel, Liam & Dobbo is up 0.9 points to 9.5%.

4BC continues to slide, down 1.1 points after a dip of 1.3 points last survey. Neil Breen‘s breakfast share dropped 0.1% for a total of 7.5%. Ray Hadley finished #6 in the mornings with a share of 6.9%, dipping 1.8 points. For the second survey in a row, 4BC was down in every daypart.
