Born Creators Group (BCG) has announced the appointment of David Gerrie as chief executive officer.
Rony Chiha, founder of the independent digital and communication agency, said: “I started with one agency over a decade ago and have proudly expanded the business into four distinct agencies, all of which intrinsically serve an aspect of the marketing and creative sector.
“David’s appointment as CEO is an integral component of strategically growing our business in 2023. We will tap into his deep agency experience and proven track record to scale up our business and deliver a competitive edge to the market and to our valued clients.”
Gerrie is an industry veteran, having worked in COO and CFO roles for companies within the Publicis Groupe and WPP Group for over 20 years. He will take the helm at BCG as CEO to lead them into their next phase of growth.
Gerrie said of his appointment: “I am excited to be joining an independent agency in Born Creators Group and focusing on building its four unique agencies in collaboration with Rony and the dynamic BCG team. My objective is to drive a strong agency culture that inspires our team every day and to deliver purposeful and exceptional outcomes to existing and new clients.”
With offices in Australia and overseas, BCG continues to work with advanced brands such as Bingo Industries, Roger Dubuis, Toyota and more. Chiha will take on the role of executive chairman and travel between Australia and BCG’s global offices.
