AXS takes over ticketing at Hordern Pavilion
AXS will power ticketing at the Sydney venue from 10 August 2026.

AXS has been named the official ticketing partner for Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion. The ticketing company will begin powering concerts and events at the Moore Park venue from 10 August 2026.
Under the partnership, AXS will provide its ticketing technology, mobile ticket management and customer support. The system will also give the venue access to data, analytics and integrated marketing tools.
Supporting the Hordern Pavilion’s ticketing operations
The Hordern Pavilion opened in 1924 and has hosted international and Australian touring acts for more than a century. It remains one of Sydney’s best-known concert and live entertainment venues.
“The Hordern Pavilion has always evolved with the live entertainment industry while staying true to what makes it special,” said Michael Nebenzahl, chief executive officer of Playbill Venues. “Partnering with AXS is our next, natural step in that evolution. Their technology and global experience, combined with a genuine focus on fans and our promoter partners, made them the right fit for The Hordern, and we're excited to work together.”
AXS Mobile ID will allow customers to buy, access, transfer and manage tickets through their mobile devices. The company said its technology is designed to improve ticket security while giving venues and promoters more information about audience engagement.

AXS expands its Australian venue portfolio
The agreement expands AXS’s presence across Australia and New Zealand, where it works with venues, festivals, sporting organisations and live entertainment partners.
“The Hordern Pavilion has played an iconic role in Australia's live entertainment landscape for generations,” said Andrew Travis, chief executive officer of AXS Australia and New Zealand. “We're incredibly excited to welcome The Hordern to the AXS family. It's an honor to partner with such an iconic venue and bring our fan-first technology to support its continued success while delivering great fan experiences.”
Globally, AXS said it works with more than 1,600 clients across North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific. The AEG-owned company distributes more than 70 million tickets annually across its primary and secondary ticketing marketplaces.
