Australia Post and Cotton On are taking their Parcel Locker push directly to the point of purchase, integrating the delivery option into Cotton On’s online checkout as part of a broader commerce and retail media campaign.

The integration lets shoppers select an Australia Post Parcel Locker as their preferred delivery location without leaving the checkout experience. The partnership combines delivery technology, owned media and customer incentives in a bid to increase adoption of out-of-home delivery.

Until 30 August 2026, customers who select a Parcel Locker at Cotton On checkout will enter a draw to win one of five $5,000 Cotton On wardrobes. The wider campaign will continue across Australia Post and Cotton On owned channels through to October.

Checkout becomes a media touchpoint

Aimee Dixon, Australia Post General Manager Enterprise Brand and Retail Marketing, said the partnership shows how brands can use technology and media to influence customer choices at the point of purchase.

“The delivery experience has become an increasingly important part of the online shopping journey, and customers are looking for delivery options that fit around their lives.

“By integrating Parcel Lockers directly into the checkout experience, we’re making it easier for customers to choose a delivery option that offers greater convenience and flexibility, while helping retailers deliver a better end-to-end customer experience.

“This partnership also showcases the strength of combining owned media, retail partnerships and customer incentives to drive meaningful behaviour change and create value for both customers and merchants.”

The campaign extends beyond checkout, running across EDMs, social media, retail screens, Parcel Locker advertising and Cotton On’s digital assets.

Cotton On backs flexible delivery

Danielle Jenkins, Cotton On Head of Digital (Southern), said adding Parcel Lockers was designed to give shoppers more control over when and where they collect online orders.

“We're always looking for ways to make life easier for our customers. Whether they're busy, live regionally, or just want more flexibility, Australia Post Parcel Lockers give them a convenient way to collect their order when it suits them. Offering this through cottonon.com.au felt like a natural next step in improving that experience.”

For Australia Post, the partnership puts Parcel Locker promotion inside the purchase journey rather than relying only on post-purchase delivery choices. It also gives the business a campaign spanning commerce technology, retail media inventory and consumer incentives.
