Advertising Industry Careers (AIC) will be featuring Independent Media Agencies Australia (IMAA) on their platform from launch.
Both organisations share the vision of fostering diversity, educating future talent and creating more job opportunities.
Sam Buchanan, CEO of IMAA, said: “We at the IMAA are proud to collaborate with Advertising Industry Careers from launch, with a shared vision to educate and draw diverse talent into our industry. Together, we aim to inspire the next generation of advertising professionals and nurture a workforce that reflects the diversity of demographics and audiences in Australian society.”
Adam Elliot, CEO of Advertising Industry Careers said: “The IMAA is an important partner for us. They do amazing work for their 160+ independent media agency members, and our two organisations are very much aligned in our desire to strengthen our industry. We are excited to share resources, insights, programs and knowledge to drive positive change and growth and thank Sam and the team for coming on the journey with us”.
AIC will promote the work that IMAA does for its members with a major focus on the IMAA Academy. The courses available through the Academy cover a variety of introductory subjects related to media, as well as valuable business,
human resources, and compliance training courses for managers.
AIC is a new career platform designed with the Australian advertising industry in mind and aims to help connect the right job hunters and graduates to the right businesses and jobs.
Founded by CEO Adam Elliott and COO Owen Joyce, AIC is set to launch in October. There are some big names already on board with AIC – Network 10, Nine, Mediabrands, UM and Initiative to name a few– as well as a number of smaller brands like Ryval Media, Oxygen360, and Principle Media Group.
