OMD Australia has appointed Amanda Watts as Chief Operating Officer and Daniel Clark as Managing Director, Sydney, in a dual leadership move effective immediately.
Watts moves into the newly created national COO role after serving as Managing Director of OMD Sydney.
Clark steps up from Managing Partner to fill the Sydney MD position vacated by her elevation.
Watts takes the national brief
In the COO role, Watts will oversee the operational execution of OMD's strategic vision, focusing on aligning people, commercial priorities, and the agency's transformation agenda. The position has been designed to connect strategy, operations, and innovation across the agency's enterprise-scale client portfolio.
Watts brings more than 19 years of experience across Australia and Asia. "I've always loved bringing order to complexity, aligning teams around a common goal and helping turn ideas into action," she said.

"By driving operational excellence and future-ready ways of working, we can continue to strengthen our business, support our people and create what's next for our clients."
Clark leads Sydney
Clark's promotion to Managing Director of OMD Sydney recognises his tenure as a senior leader within the business. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency's largest office and continue to develop its client relationships and culture.
"This is an iconic office built on a strong culture and a legacy of award-winning work for our clients," Clark said. "I'm committed to continuing to create an environment where our people can thrive, supported by the right tools, training and opportunities to do their best work."
OMD Australia chief executive officer Sian Whitnall said the two appointments completed the agency's executive leadership structure.
"We have built a team that combines operational and craft excellence, with a clear license to rewrite the rules through modern media creativity - all underpinned by a strong, connected culture our people can rally around," she said.
