7Bravo and NBCUniversal International Networks and Direct-to-Consumer have announced television personality Dominic Bowden will join the Bravo brand in Australia and New Zealand.
Bowden will bring audiences interviews with the biggest stars from across the globe.
As 7Bravo and Bravo New Zealand’s man-in-the-know, he is based in LA, where he will have direct access to some of the channel’s biggest stars.
An established host, reporter and correspondent, Bowden will bring audiences interviews with the biggest Bravo stars, from the glamorous The Real Housewives to the crews of Below Deck and the top agents from Million Dollar Listing.
Originally from New Zealand, Bowden has worked as a host and reporter for E! in Australia and NZ, as well as handling correspondent work on major US television networks (MTV, FOX, VH1, CNN, Lifetime) and radio, including KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest.
Bowden was also a backstage host in the US on the smash hit Dancing with the Stars and host of the spinoff American Idol show: The Next Great American Band. He is considered television royalty in NZ, having hosted many of the country’s highest-rating reality shows.
Bowden said of the new role: “I’m thrilled to be joining this truly global brand and bringing the biggest names from all corners of the Bravo universe to Australian audiences.
“Bravo’s iconic shows have the most passionate fanbase and it’s an honour to represent Down Under in the US, interviewing the channel’s brightest stars. It’s something I’m super excited and proud to do.”
Chris Taylor, MD, NBCUniversal International Networks and Direct-to-Consumer and Distribution, ANZ, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dominic Bowden to the Bravo family, covering both Australia and New Zealand.
“He is an exceptional talent and brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the role, in order to deliver Australian audiences interviews with 7Bravo’s biggest stars direct from LA.”
7Bravo launches in Australia on 15 January 2023, bringing the very best of NBCUniversal’s extraordinary reality and true crime content to all Australians, live and free.
