303 Mediahub has hired five staff across leadership, planning and performance after securing new business and expanding its Perth operation.

The appointments include a new media director, planning director and media manager. Three of the five recruits have joined from Carat.

Three senior hires arrive from Carat

  • Emily Whyte has joined as media director. Most recently at Carat, Whyte will lead the agency’s growing government media portfolio and oversee the onboarding of new government clients.
  • Vicki Crimmins has been appointed media manager after also moving from Carat. She will support campaign planning and delivery across key client accounts.
  • Ash Idle joins as planning director from Carat. Idle will focus on audience-led media strategies across the agency’s client portfolio.
  • Kaycee Williams has been appointed media coordinator. She will support campaign planning, implementation, reporting and account coordination.
  • Sophie Ashby joins from Word of Mouth as performance coordinator. She will work across paid search, social and programmatic campaigns.

Kylie Macey, general manager at 303 Mediahub, said the agency was building “one of Perth’s strongest locally based media teams”.

“The new appointments include some of the state’s best talent, and we’re thrilled to have them on board,” Macey said.

“And these latest appointments are just the start. As a growing and ambitious media agency with the depth of capability to manage complex, large-scale accounts through to localised projects requiring strong WA knowledge and experience, we’re looking for other talented Western Australians to join the team in the near future.”

Growth follows government and charity wins

The expansion follows 303 Mediahub’s appointment to the WA Government CUA panel for Media Strategy and Buying.

The agency has also secured accounts with the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and Melanoma Australia.

Its contract with Austrade has been renewed for international media planning and buying. The agency also launched Voice of WA, a research report examining the attitudes and emotional drivers of Western Australians.

Sue Squillace, Mediahub ANZ chief executive officer, said the expansion reflected continued investment in specialist skills and experience.

“It’s brilliant to see the market responding to 303 Mediahub’s ongoing expansion, and its ability to meet client demand while developing new tools and approaches that address modern marketing challenges,” Squillace said.

“Kylie and the team are building an outstanding business, and we look forward to seeing even greater success and expansion in the future.”

303 Mediahub is part of Attivo, which operates agencies across Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
