This November, YouTube stars Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee are coming to Melbourne and Sydney to promote their feature-length film for BBC Worldwide.
Between them they have more than 10 million YouTube subscribers and more than a billion total video views.
Their film, Joe & Caspar Hit The Road will be released exclusively on digital download from November 23 and DVD from December 2.
Sugg and Lee will meet fans at two exclusive Q&A’s — the first in Melbourne on Saturday, November 7 at the Comedy Theatre and the second in Sydney on Sunday, November 8 at Big Top, Luna Park. These events will offer audience interaction with Q&As, YouTube best bits, exclusive clips and behind-the-scenes footage from Joe & Caspar Hit The Road. There’s also an opportunity for Australia’s biggest fans to get up close and personal with Joe and Caspar for a VIP meet and greet prior to the show.
Chantal Bindley, Live Entertainment Manager at BBC Worldwide ANZ, says: Partnering with Joe and Caspar is a rare and very exciting opportunity for BBC Worldwide ANZ and the first time BBC globally has built long-form content around YouTubers. I’m delighted to bring the boys to Australia for the very first time and diversify our live events portfolio.”
Tickets for both shows go on sale at 12 noon this Thursday, October 15.
