Youth publisher Centennial Beauty announces rebrand to Centennial World

Centennial World

“Centennial World is a new era for us that encompasses all that we do and cover.”

Youth publisher Centennial Beauty has officially rebranded to Centennial World to better encompass its main content pillars: internet culture, the creator economy, and viral trends.

The brand is now Centennial World across all social media platforms and has moved to a new domain, centennialworld.com. All Centennial Beauty content and URL links will automatically redirect to Centennial World.

Director of content Lauren Meisner says: “We’re so excited to officially announce this rebrand! Internet culture has drastically changed over the past three years with the rise of new platforms and creators, and our content has reflected that evolution. Centennial World is a new era for us that encompasses all that we do and cover.”

Director of brand & partnerships Jordyn Christensen says: “From a commercial perspective, Centennial World offers a far broader scope for branded opportunities. Over time, we’ve listened to feedback from our audience demonstrating more diverse categories of interest. The Centennial World reader is open to and engaged with brand stories and partnerships across categories including fashion, beauty, tech and FMCG.”

Experts in the category, the network reaches 2+ million Gen Zs per month, with 60% identifying as women and 40% identifying as men.

The audience’s top five affinity categories include:

1. Entertainment & Film
2. Shopping
3. Music
4. Fashion
5. Technology

Centennial World Launched in December 2019 by former Bauer Media (now Are Media) writers Lauren Meisner and Jordyn Christensen. The group fills a gap in Australian media for a publication that exclusively covers internet culture for Gen Z. The brand takes a 360 approach to meet Gen Z where they’re at— creating original content across its digital publication, TikTok account, weekly podcast, and weekly newsletter.

Lauren Meisner and Jordyn Christensen met working in Australian digital publishing as writers for titles including beautyheaven, BEAUTYcrew, marie claire Australia, ELLE Australia, and Harper’s BAZAAR Australia. After noticing a gap in media for a Gen Z publisher that specialised in internet culture, they launched Centennial World (formerly Centennial Beauty) in December 2019.
