The two biggest improvers were Gardening Australia that lifted 15% on overnights to a Total TV audience of 917,000.
The biggest BVOD audience for Friday a week ago was Brooklyn Nine-Nine on SBS with 145,000 and a jump of 399% with a Total TV audience of 359,000.
Overnight TV ratings Metro Friday September 24
Nine wins its fourth night of the week and after six nights of Week 39 holds a narrow lead in week-to-date primary and network shares ahead of Seven.

The AFL Grand Final eve episode of Better Homes and Gardens featured garden tips for spring, a chicken wings recipe, and a visit to Daylesford. The audience was on 418,000 after 508,000 a week ago.
The Friday night movie was 2019’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix with 165,000 watching in four markets.
Nine
The first of two NRL Preliminary Finals secured Nine a Friday win. South Sydney was in control at halftime and despite a couple of moments where Manly looked competitive, the Bunnies won easily.
The metro audience was 706,000 (after 608,000 on Friday a week ago) with the following breakdown:

Melbourne 48,000

The Project was a clear leader for the channel with 399,000 at 7pm.
10 News First was next best with 337,000 at 5pm.
The Living Room then did 275,000.
ABC
Gardening Australia was just over half a million a week ago and was on 510,000 last night.
The first of the three-part Des started last night 12 months after it screened on Foxtel. The series is another masterclass from David Tennant and it attracted 414,000 and should also do well on iview.
SBS
Secrets of Egypt’s Valley of the Kings kept Egyptologists happy with 148,000 watching.
At 8.30pm there was an audience of 135,000 for The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes as the hosts visited Norway.
