Total TV ratings Friday October 29
Annika was the top non-news program in the total TV ratings for October 29. The UK crime show had 838,000 after increasing its overnight ratings by 25%.
The ABC had another one of the top performers in Gardening Australia with 823,000, after increasing 16%.
Seven’s primetime lineup saw Better Homes and Gardens bring in 748,000 viewers, while Mel Gibson‘s Hacksaw Ridge had 331,000.
The top non-news show on Nine was Taronga: Who’s in the Zoo with 552,000 viewers.
Overnight TV ratings Metro Friday November 5
Seven
Seven News had 854,000 for its first half-hour before decreasing to 788,000 for the second thirty minutes of the primetime bulletin.
Better Homes and Gardens then aired in its customary 7pm slot with 387,000 viewers. This continued a downward trend for the show after 422,000 last week and 462,000 the week before that.
The Kate Hudson movie Raising Helen then had 173,000 viewers which was below last week’s Friday night movie, Hacksaw Ridge with 203,000 viewers.
Nine
Nine comfortably won the evening with the #1 primary (23.0%) and network (30.7%) shares.
Nine News had an average of 783,000 from 6pm to 6:30pm and then 747,000 viewers from 6:30pm.
A Current Affair had 589,000 Friday night viewers, which is its best ratings in over three weeks.
Taronga: Who’s Who in the Zoo had 430,000.
The James Bond film Casino Royale then had 334,000 viewers. This seems to be starting a theme for Friday nights on Nine with James Bond also featuring next week with Skyfall.

10 News First gave The Project a lead-in of 284,000 in its final half-hour which the current affairs program then followed with 186,000 (6:30pm) and 251,000 (7:00pm).
The Graham Norton Show was once again in the 7:30pm slot but was down week on week with 194,000 tuning in last night after 212,000 watched last week.
The encore of Have You Been Paying Attention? then had 169,000 viewers.
ABC
Gardening Australia was the top non-news program last night with 479,000, this was down on recent weeks after having 559,000 the week prior which followed a few weeks close to and above 600,000 for the program.
UK crime show Annika then had 429,000 viewers.
SBS
The top program on SBS last night was a repeat of Pompeii: After the Eruption with 166,000.
