UnLtd is taking its annual flagship event, the Big Dream, to Melbourne for the first time.
The event showcases and celebrates the positive impact the media industry is creating for charities supporting young people at risk, highlighting the best parts of the industry.
Chris Freel, CEO of UnLtd said: “Our dream at UnLtd is that every young person has the best opportunity in life, no matter what circumstances they’re born into. Our industry is doing an incredible job of helping to change the lives of thousands of young people at risk across Australia, and now New Zealand.
“The Big Dream enables us to come together and see that impact brought to life. It’s a great opportunity for us to all take a moment to reflect and feel proud of the positive impact that our industry is making through their work with UnLtd.”
The gala experience has been held in Sydney since 2018, and this year will be the first time the event will be held in Melbourne. The event date has been confirmed as October 12, 2023, in a central CBD location.
Tiffany Damm, general manager Melbourne at UnLtd said: “We are so excited to finally bring UnLtd Big Dream to Melbourne! The Melbourne advertising industry is full of passionate change makers, and we can’t wait to celebrate our collective impact with all of our supporters. It’s also a great opportunity to put on our dreamiest outfits and to connect with everyone across the industry.”
Big Dream will give 700 guests an insight into some of the realities that young people supported by UnLtd’s charity partners face through immersive experiences and storytelling. It will be an evening of reflection, entertainment, fundraising and big dreams.
All funds from the event go towards UnLtd’s work supporting charities helping young people at risk.
Last year, the 4th annual UnLtd: Big Dream event took place and saw over 700 people across the media, marketing and creative industry come together.
