Topping the night overall was The Block with the last working day wrapping up. 1,783,000 tuned in as Tom and Sarah-Jane won Landscaping week, lifting 32%.
Also for Nine, Love Island cracked the top 30 Total TV list, despite being a 9Now exclusive. 326,000 tuned in, up 594%.

Have You Been Paying Attention? got 803,000 laughing, lifting 37%. Beforehand, The Traitors lifted 44%, with 423,000 watching as the Traitors brought a Faithful over to their side.
Australia’s Got Talent brought the final night of auditions to the stage, up 18% with 752,000 tuning in.
Australian Story told 672,000 about the Citipointe Christian College controversy, up 16%.
Overnight TV Ratings, October 7
Seven has won the night with a primary share of 21.7% and a network share of 30.2%. 7Two won the night for multichannels with a share of 3.7%.
Home and Away brought 443,000 to Seven to launch primetime. It was then Rebecca Gibney’s turn to take a trip down memory lane, as 581,000 tuned in for This Is Your Life.
Nine’s A Current Affair sat down with Paul Hogan, for an audience of 702,000. After the conclusion of The Block, Nine’s new tentpole My Mum Your Dad then debuted to an audience of 396,000, as parents entered a villa looking for love the second time around.
The ABC’s 7.30 covered the UN’s climate summit and interviewed Australian mining magnate Andrew Forrest for 524,000. Australian Story took a look at the life of Tim Minchin alongside 585,000, before Four Corners traced the current war in Ukraine back to 2014 for 439,000 viewers.
On 10, The Project (309,000 7pm) covered a study that revealed more than a third of Aussies are financially illiterate, and interviewed musician Shaggy. The penultimate episode of The Traitors was watched by 260,000, with two Traitors and two Faithful making it through to Sunday’s finale. The final episode of Have Hou Been Paying Attention? for the year then brought in 508,000 as the show looked back at 2022.
