• Cheap Seats and MasterChef continue to pair well for 10
Total TV Ratings, May 24
Home and Away was the top primetime entertainment program in the total TV ratings with 947,000 viewers, up 5% on its overnight viewership. Big Brother had 773,000 viewers (up 52%) as the episode saw a friendship begin to fracture between Tim and Drew.
Celebrity Apprentice had 680,000 tune in for its third episode of the season, an increase of 28%. The episode featured the celebs creating and executing their own wellness retreat. When all was said and done Lord Sugar chose Jodi Gordon as the celebrity to be fired due to her poor customer feedback in the challenge.
MasterChef Australia was the top show for 10 with 803,000 viewers, up 22%. The episode saw Melanie sent home after facing the challenge of Josh Niland‘s tuna wellington.

Nine won the tv ratings survey last night with the #1 primary channel share (18.0%) and network share (25.6%).
Celebrity Apprentice had 411,000 viewers as the celebrities stripped down for charity, and Lord Sugar added a new contestant in pop star Amy Shark. Ironically as Shark joined the show, pop star Samantha Jade, was fired at the end of the episode by Sugar. Matt Wright’s Wild Territory then followed with 238,000 viewers.
On Seven, Home and Away was the top primetime entertainment program for Seven with 469,000 viewers. Big Brother then had 306,000 tune in at 7:30pm. The episode saw the OG alliance begin to fall apart as Tim, Dave, and Tully all came into conflict. The Good Doctor then followed with 197,000 viewers.
On 10, MasterChef Australia was the top primetime entertainment program for the night with 533,000 viewers as Matt Landmark went home after the contestants had three and a half hours to recreate Donato Toce’s “Honey” gelato dessert. The episode was also #1 for the 16-39 demographic
The Cheap Seats continues to perform well in the 8:30 slot with 360,000 viewers tuning in, making it #1 in the timeslot.
On the ABC, The Family Court Murders had 256,000 viewers before Space 22 then had 243,000 viewers.
The top program on SBS was Great British Railway Journeys with 225,000 viewers.
