Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens was the most-watched entertainment program on total TV, reaching an audience of 757,00 and rising by 6%.
ABC’s election coverage followed closely behind with 739,000 viewers, an increase of 7%. Gardening Australia on ABC and Have You Been Paying Attention? on 10 both experienced the highest lift on overnight with 22% to reach 496,000 and 315,000 people respectively.

Seven has won the night with a network share of 36.2% and a primary channel share of 24.5% The top multichannel of the night was 7mate with 5.8%.
Seven has Friday Night Football and the Friday Night Football post-match to thank for the win, as the match between Sydney Swans and Richmond Tigers pulled in an audience of 494,000. The Swans defeated the Tigers with 10 goals to three in a second-half surge after trailing by as much as 33 points to eventually win 16.10 (106) to 15.10 (100).
The post-match coverage clocked 490,000 views, with 263,000 coming from Melbourne. The Chase also helped push Seven up the ratings, bringing in an audience of 481,000.
Hot Seat on Nine reached 409,000, while Friday Night NRL reached an audience of 293,000 as the Broncos dominated the Titans 35-24 at Suncorp Stadium.
ABC’s top entertainment program was Gardening Australia bringing in an audience of 341,000
On 10, The 7pm Project had an audience of 254,000 as the team discussed The Ellen Show coming to an end and had a first look at ABBA’s new digital concert.
The top non-news program on SBS was Treasures Decoded with 136,000 views.

Fox League took out the top two spots on subscription TV with Broncos v Titans pulling in 269,000 views, followed by the Panthers v Cowboys match with 260,000 views as the Panthers dominated 22-0.
On Fox Footy, Friday Footy on Fox reached an audience of 219,000 followed by Sydney v Richmond with 209,000 views.
