ABC had the program with the highest lift on total TV as Mayfair Witches lifted 76% for 342,000.
On Nine, Escape To The Chateau increased by 23% to deliver a total TV audience of 326,000.
Overnight TV Ratings, May 12
Seven dominated the Friday night shares with a primary channel share of 25.1% and a network share of 33.9%, while 7TWO won the multichannels with 3.2%.
In the AFL, the Richmond Tigers went head-to-head with Geelong to claim a 24-point victory in front of 427,000 on Seven’s Friday Night AFL. 247,000 Melbourne residents tuned in to watch the match. Earlier in the night, The Chase aired to 476,000, claiming the top entertainment slot, while Better Homes and Gardens had 247,000 as Adam showed how to install a doggy door with off-the-shelf products.
Nine’s Friday night NRL pulled in an audience of 329,000 as the Panthers thrashed the Roosters 48-4 in a legacy 20-year grand final rematch. Nine’s top program of the night was A Current Affair, with 535,000. The program met a hearing-impaired widow who was knocked back from 300 rental applications before finding a place to stay and is now facing eviction.
On ABC, Gardening Australia topped entertainment with 320,000, as the team met a landscape architect adding wilderness to her work.
On 10, 208,000 tuned into 10 News First, while 143,000 watched Chase and Will race to the north of Bondi after reports a man had fallen off the cliff on Bondi Rescue.
The highest-rated non-news show on SBS was Video Killed the Radio Star – Artist’s View: Queen, with 92,000.

On Fox League, 252,000 tuned in to watch the Panthers defeat Roosters, while Bulldogs V Warriors had 227,000.
