• Nine rides MAFS controversy to #1 primary and network shares

Total TV Ratings, February 28
Married at First Sight (MAFS) was once again the top program in the total TV ratings after producing an audience of 1.851m, up 47% on its overnight viewership. The episode featured Jess and Daniel leaving the experiment only minutes after they checked into their hotel room, with Jess doubling down on her desire to leave in the previous commitment ceremony.
Seven’s Home and Away was the #2 entertainment program for the night with 1.043m viewers, up 22%. Also on Seven, SAS Australia had 800,000 up 44%.
Australian Survivor was the top program on 10 with 838,000 viewers, up 40% on its overnight ratings.
On the ABC, Australian Story had 1.004m viewers as the episode featured Glenn McGrath, his family, and his late wife Jane.

Nine has secured another night with the top primary channel (24.9%) and network (31.9%) share as Married at First Sight (MAFS) continues to dominate prime time with 978,000 viewers, making it the #1 entertainment program for the night. MAFS was also #1 in all key demos as the episode was up on last week’s 940,000 viewers.
The episode saw tensions continue to rise amongst the brides, following on from the explosive commitment ceremony. Things reached their apex at the couple’s retreat when Olivia confronted Domenica which resulted in the latter smashing a wine glass.
La Brea then followed with 291,000 viewers.
On Seven, Home and Away started its week with 524,000 viewers, making it the top entertainment program for Seven for the night. SAS Australia then followed with 383,000 viewers as Richard Buttrose was sent packing by Ant Middleton after the pair had a blow-up during a cliffside tug-of-war task. This episode was up on last week’s 372,000 viewers.
On 10, The Project had 256,000 (6:30pm) and 412,000 (7:00pm) as the show talked to rockstar Dave Grohl. Australian Survivor then had 492,000 viewers as Shay was saved from elimination by being placed in purgatory. This was up on last week’s 463,000 viewers.
Would I Lie to You Australia then had 343,000 viewers for its second episode. This follows a launch audience of 482,000 last week.
The ABC had 549,000 viewers as the show re-aired Leigh Sales interview with Shane Warne from 2018. The interview was conducted at the MCG where Warne had many career highlights including a hat trick and his 700th wicket.
The top non-news program on SBS was Royal History’s Myths and Secrets with 133,000 viewers.
