TV Ratings March 29, 2022: MAFS final vows win the night for Nine

Total TV Ratings, March 22

Married at First Sight (MAFS) was the top program in the total TV ratings with 1.860m, up 44%. The episode saw the couples go on their final dates.

Home and Away was the top entertainment show on Seven with 984,000 viewers, up 21%, followed by SAS Australia with 782,000, up 38%.

Dog House Australia was the top show for 10 with 724,000 viewers, up 14%.

Nine has continued its recent dominance on Tuesday nights after securing the #1 primary channel share (27.8%) and network share (24.1%). Married at First Sight (MAFS) was the top program of the night with 1.008m viewers tuning in for the second half of the final vows. The episode was #1 in all key demos as Domenica and Jack, and Selina and Cody remained together, but the result was not as romantic for Ella and Mitch with the latter saying he won’t be forced into making a decision.

The Hundred with Andy Lee then had 513,000 as the show featured Becky Lucas, Dilruk Jayasinha, and Mike Goldstein. This was the highest rating episode of the year as the continues to trend upwards since launching its second season.

On Seven, Home and Away was the top prime time entertainment program for Seven with 476,000. The finale of SAS Australia then had 350,000 viewers for its grand finale which saw Darius Boyd, Millie Boyle and Riana Crehan pass final inspection. 

On 10, The Project had 234,000 (6:30pm) and 403,000 (7:00pm) as the show discussed the new federal budget that was about to be announced. Dog House Australia then had 433,000 viewers, down on last week’s season-high of 460,000.

On the ABC, Josh Frydenberg’s budget speech had 420,000 viewers, before Budget 2022: An ABC News Special had 292,000 viewers.

On SBS, the top program was Great British Railway Journeys with 166,000 viewers.
