• MAFS success helps Nine secure another win
• Australian Survivor’s blindside helps in key demos
Total TV Ratings, March 14
Married at First Sight (MAFS) is the top program in the total TV ratings with 1.915m tuning in, an increase of 45% on its overnight ratings. The episode saw homestay week kick-off for the couples as they began to go back home with their spouse to have a taste of each other’s lives.
Home and Away was the next best entertainment program for the night with 999,000 viewers, up 22%.
Australian Survivor had 897,000 viewers (up 43%) while SAS Australia had 751,000 (up 45%).

Nine has continued its strong start to the week by securing the #1 primary channel (24.2%) share and network share (31.2%) last night. Married at First Sight (MAFS) was the best performer for the broadcaster with 942,000, making it the top non-news program of the night. MAFS was also #1 in all key demographics as the episode kicked off Reflection Week with the couples watching videos from their weddings or receiving challenges from other couples. The episode was down on last week’s 977,000 viewers.
La Brea then followed with 290,000 viewers.
On Seven, Home and Away kicked off its week with 488,000 viewers tuning in for the Aussie soap. This was the top prime time entertainment program for the broadcaster last night.
SAS Australia then had 313,000 viewers as Geoff Huegill withdrew from the course as a day of cold water torture pushed the recruits to their limits. The episode was down on last week’s 362,000 viewers.
On 10, The Project had 230,000 (6:30pm) and 385,000 (7:00pm) as the show spoke to West Australian Premier Mark McGowan about his approach to the pandemic.
Australian Survivor then had 497,000 viewers, down slightly on last week’s 501,000, as Josh and Jordie joined forces to send Sam and her stolen idol home. Survivor was also #2 in the 16-39 and 18-49 demographic.
Would I Lie to You Australia? then had 322,000 viewers.
On the ABC, Australian Story had 456,000 viewers as it focused on magician Arthur Coghlan. Four Corners then followed with 453,000, as the show took viewers to the under-siege city of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
The top rating non-news program on SBS was Scotland: Escape to the Wilderness with 129,000 viewers.
