ABC had the program with the highest lift on total TV as Utopia lifted 68% for 517,000.
On Nine, A Current Affair increased by 7% to deliver a total TV audience of 814,000.
Overnight TV Ratings, June 30
NIne dominated the Friday night shares with a primary channel share of 20.2% and a network share of 41.1%, while GEM won the multichannels with 14.2%.
In the AFL, The Sydney Swans went head-to-head with the Geelong Cats as the game ended in a rare draw in front of 340,000 on Seven’s Friday Night AFL. 182,000 Melbourne residents tuned in to watch the match. Earlier in the night, The Chase aired to 478,000, while Better Homes and Gardens, topped entertainment for Seven with 380,000 as Joh and Pete visited Middle Harbour House on Sydney Harbour.
Nine’s Friday night NRL pulled in an audience of 281,000 as the Panthers showed up the Storm ending 34-16. Nine’s top program of the night was The Ashes Second Test ENG v AUS with 534,000. A Current Affair also saw 494,000 tune in as the program investigated the dangers of silica dust for young tradies.
On ABC, Gardening Australia topped entertainment with 314,000, as the team met a garden guru in arid Alice Springs.
On 10, 217,000 tuned into the premiere of the new season of Location, Location, Location. Have You Been Paying Attention? also pulled in 121,000.
The highest-rated non-news program on SBS was Hampton Court: Behind Closed Doors with 81,000.

Fox League topped the STV chart for Friday with the Panthers beating out the Storm. The final score was 34-16. 217,000 tuned in for the match. The Warriors V Rabbitohs saw 191,000 tuned in. The final score was 28-6.
The Sydney v Geelong match on Fox Footy came in fourth on subscription TV, clocking 149,000 views. The match ended in a rare draw at the SCG.
