Nine

Travel Guides took 662,000 viewers to Mexico City as the guides visited the ancient capital city of the Zapotec people, Monte Albán, they then watched The Dance of The Flyers before partaking in some Lucha Libre (Mexican Wrestling). There was also a taxing taxi experience and some tacos along the way as the show was the #1 non-news program last night.

Doctor Doctor then followed with 399,000 tuning in for the Aussie drama’s fifth season.

Later in the evening, Footy Classified had 90,000 viewers as Eddie McGuire hosted with Matthew Lloyd, Caroline Wilson and Ross Lyon.

Seven

Seven had the top primary (19.5%) and network (29.2%) shares last night with Home and Away and Big Brother both leading the way for the broadcaster with 602,000 viewers apiece.

Big Brother was also #1 in all key demos as Christina and Ari won the nomination power once again.

They nominated Marley, SJ and Mary, thinking besties SJ and Mary wouldn’t vote for each other, so their numbers would count towards evicting the game’s most powerful threat, Marley

In the eviction ceremony, a passionate SJ discussed loyalty and ethics, stating she would not be voting for Mary after giving her word.

Mary had a different idea. Not one to be pushed into a corner, she chose strategy over emotion and stuck to her alliance with Marley, putting her vote on pal SJ.

But the final Hell Week twist meant SJ wasn’t going anywhere. Big Brother revealed the housemate with the most votes would actually become his Head of House and 2IC for the next few days, calling the shots from a private executive suite.

Given the option to take a second housemate with her, SJ chose the game’s greatest general, Daniel, proclaiming “It’s war now Danny, it’s war!”

The Hangover Part III followed as Seven concluded its three weeks Hangover marathon with 237,000 viewers tuning in for the final instalment.

10

On 10, The Project had 298,000 (6:3 pm) and 487,000 (7pm) viewers as the show covered why the government won’t help victorian workers in lockdown and counterfeit kiwi fruit.

On MasterChef, second chance week continued as the eliminated chefs continued to try and cook their way back into the kitchen. The returning cooks were whittled down to four with Maja, Tom, Wynona, and Eric now set to cook it off for the final spot in the competition.

ABC

Hard Quiz missed out to Travel Guides as the top non-news show by the most narrow of margins with its 661,000 viewers falling 1,000 short as the two shows continue to battle it out after finishing dead even last week.

Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell then aired its second episode with 581,000 tuning in to see some brief nudity as part of a conversation on censorship.

You Can’t Ask That then followed with this weeks episode featuring Lesbians giving their point of view, with 365,000 watching.

SBS

On SBS Britain’s Great Cathedral’s with Tony Robinson and The Secrets of Coca Cola took up the crux of the public broadcasters primetime slate with the show’s bringing in 179,000 and 174,000 viewers.
