Seven has once again secured the top primary (32.4%) and network (45.6%) share, as well as the top multichannel (8.3%) through 7mate thanks to the networks extensive Olympics coverage.
The main highlights for the Aussies came during the day with Kaylee McKeown winning gold in the 100m backstroke. Two bronze medals also went to Owen Wright in surfing and Jessica Fox for canoeing.
In the evening the Matildas kept their dream alive through a draw with the US while the swimming heats also dominated prime time.

Beauty and the Geek had 541,000 viewers as George and Josie won the corporate speaking challenge winning both a date and the power to bring back an eliminated couple. At their cooking class date, the pair also decided to pursue their relationship together once they are done on the show.
At the end of the show instead of an elimination the two listened to pitches from the last three eliminated teams and ultimately decided to bring back Sam and Aira due to Sam’s passion to work on his personal growth.
This episode was down on last week’s 577,000.
The Weakest Link followed with 187,000 viewers which were down on last week’s 278,000. This was the lowest rating episode of the show since its launch earlier this year.

On 10, The Project had 305,000 (6:30pm) and 441,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered calls for tougher measures during Sydney’s Covid breakout, female athletes protesting their attire, and spoke to Urzila Carlson.
On Survivor, 618,000 tuned in for the most emotional moment of the season so far as Cara played her immunity idol for George who was reduced to tears as Cara was ultimately sent home herself after the vote was initially a draw.
It was not all doom and gloom for Cara as a twist revealed that she was getting a new tribe, swapping Brains for Brawn. The episode was the #1 entertainment show last night but was down on last Tuesday’s audience of 730,000.
The Cheap Seats then followed with its second episode which brought in 286,000 viewers this was down on its launch audience of 460,000.

Ms Represented with Annabel Crabb aired its third episode to an audience of 469,000 as the headline grabbing program was down on last week’s crowd of 585,000 viewers.

The top program on SBS last night was Who Do You Think You Are? which featured Natalie Bassingthwaighte and had 258,000 viewers. Insight followed with 190,000 viewers.
