Total TV Ratings, July 7
Seven’s The Chase Australia was the top entertainment program in the total TV Ratings for July 7, after registering 900,000 viewers, an increase of 3%.
10’s MasterChef Australia was the top entertainment program in primetime with 788,000 (up 23%) for its masterclass episode which featured Jock and Andy going head-to-head in a pub meal invention test, before engaging in a three-course menu battle against the four finalists.
On Nine, The NRL had 470,000 viewers for its match between the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and the Melbourne Storm, this was an increase of 9% on its overnight ratings.

Seven has won a quiet night in the TV ratings after registering both the #1 primary channel share (20.4%) and #1 network share (28.5%). Seven News was the top program of the night with 886,000 tuning in for the 6pm portion of its news bulletin. The Chase Australia was the top entertainment program of the day with 536,000 afternoon viewers. Home and Away was the top primetime entertainment program for Seven with 404,000 tuning in for the first two episodes before 363,000 watched the third and final ep of the night. The Front Bar had 349,000 viewers, with 210,000 of those coming from Melbourne, making it the top entertainment program in the market.
On Nine, 630,000 watched A Current Affair as the program covered how the woman who found herself at the centre of a scandal on The Block – after she produced the winning bid but failed to come up with the money – had popped up in war-torn Ukraine. Earlier in the day, Hot Seat was the top entertainment program for Nine with 423,000 tuning in.
On 10, The Project had 219,000 (6:30pm) and 336,000 (4:00pm) as the program discussed Elon Musk‘s battle with Twitter, Netflix ads, and spoke to G-Flip. The Dog House Australia was then the top primetime entertainment program of the night with 419,000 viewers.
On the ABC, A Foreign Correspondent repeat took 306,000 viewers to Europe to investigate the decline of the insect population. Q+A then followed with 229,000 viewers.
The top program on SBS was stage 12 of the Tour de France which had 157,000 viewers.
