• Nine maintains its week 10 winning streak
Total TV Ratings, March 3
New episodes from the final series of ABC’s Endeavour delivered a total TV audience of 825,000, lifting 31% from 418,000. ABC also enjoyed a strong lift on Gardening Australia with 17% to reach h 702,000 and Van Der Valk, rising 43% for 335,000.
Round one of Nine’s Friday Night NRL lifted 11% to reach a total audience of 643,000.
Overnight TV Ratings, March 10
After a strong week for Nine, which saw its network share peak at 36.2% on Wednesday, the network has continued its winning streak with a 29.1% network share and a 21.9% primary channel share. 7TWO claimed the multichannel win with 3.3%.
The top program on the winning network was A Current Affair, with 402,000 tuning in as the program looked back at public perceptions of breastfeeding 30 years ago, and how this has changed since. The Friday Night NRL, which saw the Sharks claim victory against the Eels (30-26) and the Broncos dominate the Cowboys (28-16), clocked 321,000. Additionally, the post-match coverage had 179,000.
Topping entertainment for the night on Seven was The Chase, reaching 402,000, followed by Better Homes and Gardens, which saw Joh catch up with AFL commentator Luke Hodge at his Brisbane home, clocking 327,000. Friday night’s entertainment was the 2009 rom-com, The Proposal, bringing in 208,000.
On the ABC, Endeavour topped entertainment with 394,000 as a death of a uniformed cop sent shockwaves through the town. Earlier in the night, Jane visited a florist and Tammy toured a Begonia collection in front of 373,000 on Gardening Australia.
On 10, 209,000 tuned into 10 News First, while 147,000 watched Taylor Swift, Daniel Craig, and Eddie Redmayne on The Graham Norton Show.
The highest-rated non-news show on SBS was Wrecks That Changed The World, with 96,000.

Fox League’s cricket coverage has dominated subscription TV, with the Broncos v Cowboys match airing in front of 305,000, while Eels v Sharks saw 245,000 tune in. On Fox Cricket, the fourth test saw an audience of 265,000 watch day two.
