Total TV Ratings, January 30
The Australian Open’s men’s final was the top total TV program with a robust 2.34m viewers, an increase of 12% on its overnight ratings. The match saw Rafael Nadal make history with a recorded breaking 21st grand slam win.
The finale of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! was the top entertainment program of the night with 900,000 viewers (up 15%), with 938,000 tuning in to see Dylan Lewis crowned the winner.

Seven continues to enjoy the spoils of the Winter Olympics as the broadcaster has registered the #1 primary channel (26.0%) and network (32.3%) for the third consecutive night. The coverage was highlighted by Jakara Anthony capping off Australia’s greatest ever day at the Winter Olympics with the nation’s sixth ever gold medal, hours after Tess Coady claimed a bronze.

On Nine, Married at First Sight (MAFS) had 825,000 viewers as the show aired the final two weddings and also provided a sneak peek of the honeymoons. The show continues to dominate water coolers around the country with the internet exploding over Samantha and Al‘s wedding with Al copping a roasting for his overconfident attitude. MAFS was also the #1 entertainment program for the night and was #1 in all key demos.
60 Minutes then had 750,000 viewers as it aired its interview with Cleo Smith‘s parents.
On 10, The Project had 227,000 (6:30pm) and 357,000 (7:00pm) as the show examined this week’s texting scandals, and discussed the Queen celebrating her Platinum Jubilee.
Australian Survivor had 507,000 viewers as the show did not wait long for its first major twist of the season which saw the Blue tribe blindside Sophie only for her to be saved by producers and put on her sister’s Red tribe. They are now the first pair to be reunited on Blood v Water.
On the ABC, the surprise hit Muster Dogs continued to deliver for the public broadcaster with 549,000 tuning in. As always Vera continued to provide value for the ABC with 560,000 viewers.
The top program on SBS was Elizabeth I and II: The Golden Queens with 173,000 viewers.
