Total TV Ratings, February 10

Home and Away was the #1 non-news program in the total TV ratings with 999,000 viewers, an increase of 25% on its overnight TV ratings.

Australia Behind Bars had 857,000 for Nine after increasing by 26%.

The top segment of the Winter Olympics was in the evening with 771,000 tuning in.

The first episodes for the year of Foreign Correspondent and Q+A had 516,000 and 412,000 respectively.

Winter Olympics

The Winter Olympics continues to perform well for Seven as the competition is in its closing days. The day 13 coverage was hosted by Joh Griggs, Matt Shirvington, Emma Freedman, Hamish McLachlan, and Abbey Gelmi with athletes competing in freeski halfpipe, women’s alpine, freeski, women’s ice hockey, women’s speed skating, and women’s free figure skating.

Day: 181,000  (118,000 metro, 63,000 regional)
Afternoon: 261,000 (179,000 metro, 82,000 regional)
Evening: 648,000 (447,000 metro, 201,000 regional
Night: 648,000 (460,000 metro, 188,000 regional)
Late: 481,000 (363,000 metro, 118,000 regional)

Seven

Seven had a comfortable win in both the primary channel share (24.5%) and network share (34.5%) thanks to both the Winter Olympics and Home and Away which was the top entertainment program of the night with 475,000. 

Nine

A Current Affair had 567,000 viewers as the program told the story of Achol Gabriel and Michael Georganas, whose love story went sour.

RBT then had 459,000 before Australia Behind Bars had 423,000 viewers.

The Project had 197,000 (6:30pm) and 309,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered parents responses to school’s RAT scheme. 

In a couple of repeats, Bondi Rescue had 200,000 viewers before Territory Cops had 162,000.

ABC

Foreign Correspondent had 367,000 viewers as the episode took viewers to Japan to examine the falling marriage and childbirth rates amongst adults.

Q+A was live from Sydney with Stan Grant as 223,000 viewers tuned in. 

SBS

The top program on SBS was Scenic Coastal Walks with Kate Humble which had 141,000 viewers.
