• Nine breaks Seven’s winning streak
• MAFS is driving force behind win with bumper night
Total TV Ratings, February 6
Married at First Sight (MAFS) continues to dominate the total TV ratings, after once again being the top rating program for the night. The episode had 1,680,000 viewers, up 49% on its overnight TV ratings. The episode saw the final two weddings and a sneak peek of the honeymoons.
60 Minutes also performed well for Nine with its Cleo Smith interview finishing with 1.335m viewers, up 30%.
Vera was also a strong performer for the ABC with 1.159m viewers, up 33%, outrating Australian Survivor and the Winter Olympics.
Australian Survivor had 869,000 after a 38% increase. The episode saw the Blue tribe blindside Sophie only for her to be saved by producers and put on her sister’s Red tribe.
The Winter Olympics had a high of 845,000 viewers which came in the evening session.

The Winter Olympics is well and truly in its second week of broadcast now but the results have not slowed down as it continues to deliver ratings for Seven. Yesterdays coverage saw the hosting duties split up by Mel McLaughlin, Jason Richardson, Lydia Lassila, Matt Shirvington, Emma Freedman, Hamish McLachlan, and Abbey Gelmi. The events covered included women’s bobsleigh, men’s alpine slalom coverage, biathlon coverage, and women’s aerials

Afternoon: 606,000 (404,000 metro, 202,000 regional)

Nine has ended Seven’s winning streak which dated back to the beginning of the Winter Olympics. Nine had a winning primary channel share of 24.4% and a network share of 30.3%.
This win was thanks to Married at First Sight (MAFS) which was the #2 program of the night, the #1 entertainment program, and #1 in all key demos.
The episode saw the first commitment ceremony, which saw all the brides and grooms choose to stay. Although drama unfolded when Andrew copied a move from last year and wrote stay then crossed it out.
Scott Morrison‘s interview with Karl Stefanovic on 60 Minutes then brought in 574,000 viewers.

The Sunday Project had 202,000 (6:30pm) and 328,000 (7:00pm) as the show discussed if the states start ditching QR codes and the latest cost of the Nauru Detention Centre.
Australian Survivor then had 527,000 viewers as Survivor Legend Sandra went home after a dramatic tribe swap saw her daughter Nina vote against her.
ABC
Muster Dogs continues to deliver for the ABC with 574,000 viewers. Vera then followed with 587,000.
SBS
The top program on SBS was Elizabeth I and II: The Golden Queens with 146,000 viewers.
