Total TV Ratings, April 12
Home and Away was the top entertainment program in the total TV ratings with a viewership of 903,000. This was an increase of 21% on its overnight audience.
The Dog House Australia was the top program for 10 and the #2 entertainment program for the night with 891,000 viewers, an increase of 10%.
On the topic of dogs, A Dog’s World with Tony Armstrong had 467,000 viewers up 10%.

Seven has continued its winning streak off the back of the long weekend with its second consecutive weeknight with the top primary channel share (23.3%) and network share (32.0%). The main driving force for the win was again The Voice, which finished as the top non-news program for the night with 735,000 beating out its competition from the other commercial networks. The episode of The Voice saw four chair turns as Keith Urban, Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy strategised to stop Guy Sebastian from winning a second year in a row. This followed its launch on Monday with 843,000 viewers.
Earlier in the night, Home and Away started its week with 525,000, as the soap continues to provide a strong lead in to Seven’s 7:30 programming.
On Nine, Lego Masters (572,000) continues to perform well in the younger demos as it finished #1 in the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics, as well as #2 in 16-39’s. The episode saw the teams have to build a stunt vehicle that must travel up a ramp and soar through a ring of fire, clear nine Lego school buses and explode on the ground. The show launched with 672,000 viewers on Monday.
The new US drama The Thing About Pam starring Renée Zellweger then aired its first episode, bringing in 351,000 viewers.
On 10, The Project had 255,000 (6:30pm) and 373,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered the latest updates on the conflict in the Ukraine, Ash Barty’s new venture, and spoke to Jon Batiste.
MasterChef Australia then followed its launch of 545,000 with an audience of 436,000 viewers tuning in for its second episode. The episode saw the contestants split into teams of four to create a three course menu that incorporated Jerusalem artichokes, raspberries and eggplant.
On the ABC, People’s Republic of Mallacoota had 249,000 viewers before the first episode of Tiny Oz then premiered to an audience of 227,000.
The top non-news program on SBS was Great British Railway Journeys with 167,000 viewers.
