Seven wins Sunday with #1 primary and #1 network

Total TV Ratings, Sunday April 10

The Total TV ratings audience for 60 Minutes was 917,000 with a national 7-day timeshift audience of 29,000 and a national BVOD crowd of 48,000.
The biggest increases on overnight numbers in the top were for two ABC programs – Insiders lifted 14% with a Total TV audience of 656,000. Also growing was the penultimate episode of Troppo, up 21%, with a Total TV audience of 407,000.

Seven

Seven started a new week on top with the #1 primary channel and the #1 network.
The channel began the second week of the Easter ratings rest in some markets – Sydney, Brisbane and Perth – with a repeat screening of the 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts at 7pm with 250,000 watching. Viewers in Melbourne and Adelaide saw the Hey Hey It’s 100 Years special with 279,000 on board.
This was followed by another good holiday movie night regular, a screening of the 2012 movie The Sapphires on 190,000.

Nine

60 Minutes followed the 6pm news for a second consecutive week with 444,000 tuned in. It was the biggest single audience after 7pm, but it trailed the Seven combo crowd of 529,000 for Hogwarts/Hey Hey.
A repeat screening of the Janet Jackson documentary followed with 206,000.

The Sunday edition of The Project was on 245,000 after 7pm. It was followed by an episode of The Graham Norton Show featuring a compilation of interviews including Adele, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Penelope Cruz, RuPaul and Ricky Gervais with 158,000 watching.
A festival of FBI followed with three episodes back-to-back with the first on 142,000.

ABC

Grand Designs New Zealand has made way for an episode of the UK original. Last night a home from series 19 in 2018 featured an ambitious build in Huxham with 347,000 ranking the show top five for the night.
The season final of Troppo brought to an end the adventures of Ted and Amanda with 211,000 watching.

SBS

A Ray Martin doco from 2017 got another screening at 7.30pm with 187,000 watching. A doco about the Titanic followed on 144,000.
