ABC’s Gardening Australia was the most viewed non-news program on total TV reaching a total audience of 692,000 with an increase of 18%.
Seven claimed the second top spot with The Chase reaching a total TV audience of 686,000 and a lift of 3%.
ABC’s Smother experienced the highest lift on overnight with 51% and a total audience of 454,000.

On Good Friday, Seven claimed the top network share spot with 30.7%, followed closely by Nine with 28.5%. Seven also took out the primary channel share, recording 20.1%, while Nine narrowly fell behind with 19.4%.
On Seven, The Chase brought in an audience of 327,000, making it the network’s top non-news program.
Seven’s Friday Night AFL coverage aired in Sydney and Perth, bringing in a total of 150,000 views as the Sydney Swans dominated the West Coast Eagles 18.13 (121) to 8.4 (58). In an earlier game aired exclusively in Melbourne, North Melbourne took on Western Bulldogs to raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal. The Bulldogs defeated North Melbourne 21.13 (139) to 11.5 (71) and brought in a Melbourne audience of 157,000.
Nine’s Friday Night NRL coverage clocked 306,000 viewers, with 143,000 from Sydney as The Penrith Panthers beat the Brisbane Broncos 40-12 at BlueBet Stadium. Additionally, Nine’s Good Friday NRL brought in 204,000 viewers as the Rabbitohs beat the Bulldogs 36-16.
On ABC, 341,000 people tuned in to watch the top non-new program of the night, Gardening Australia.
On 10, The Project talked to American singer Lizzo about changing the body positivity discourse, which clocked 237,000 views.
The top non-news program on SBS was World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys Specials with 155,000 views.

Fox League also aired the Broncos v Panthers match which clocked 211,000 views, followed by Fox Footy’s live West Coast v Sydney coverage, reaching 188,000.
The Rabbitohs v Bulldogs match on Fox League brought in 188,000 as the Rabbitohs won 36-16.
Fox Footy’s coverage of North Melbourne v Bulldogs had an audience of 139,000 as the Bulldogs defeated North Melbourne.
