TikTok has launched ‘Mind Your Business’ – a new live vodcast hosted by the founder of Boost Juice Bars, Janine Allis. ‘Mind Your Business’ is dedicated to showcasing the small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that are leveraging TikTok to share their passions and expertise, build community connections, and address important issues.
Recorded live from TikTok’s creator studio in Sydney, Janine is joined for each episode by an influential TikTok creator and business owner, who is using the platform to share their entrepreneurial success and grow their business. ‘Mind Your Business’ not only highlights their success stories but also provides practical tips and tricks to help Australians turn their business aspirations into a reality.
The first ‘Mind Your Business’ episode saw Janine interview Brittney Saunders, founder and CEO of inclusive fashion brand FAYT The Label, with an entertaining discussion that covered topics including the beginnings of both FAYT The Label and Boost Juice Bars, and the importance of authenticity – particularly when using TikTok. The pair also discussed their top tips for starting a business: begin by identifying and solving a problem, define your target customers and product, create a clear plan, commit both mentally and financially, and ensure effective promotion for visibility and persistence.
Episode three is set to air in mid-November, featuring Joel Twyman, co-founder of The Marshmallow Co. With over 1 million followers, The Marshmallow Co. has not only captivated a massive audience but has transcended borders by delivering their Australian-made giant marshmallows to customers worldwide, including those in the UK, US, and beyond.
Janine Allis, Founder of Boost Juice Bars and host of TikTok’s ‘Mind Your Business’, said: “The hardest thing for a business is knowing how to reach their customers. There are countless small business owners in Australia who have found TikTok to be the holy grail for tapping into a new audience. On ‘Mind Your Business’, we talk to some of the incredible creators who are using TikTok as a tool to build a successful business.”
Brett Armstrong, general manager, global business solutions TikTok AUNZ, said: “We’re committed to celebrating the Australian businesses who are finding success on TikTok by embracing authenticity. We love hearing first-hand how one viral video has the power to reach new audiences and unlock real-world business opportunities.
