Foxtel has announced that shooting for season three is underway on the hit reality series, The Real Housewives of Melbourne and is set to premiere early 2016 on Arena.
Season three will see the return of Melbourne’s infamous housewives Chyka Keebaugh, Gamble Breaux, Gina Liano, Jackie Gillies, Janet Roach, Lydia Schiavello and Pettifleur Berenger, who will be joined by Melbourne socialite and country girl turned Toorak Housewife, Susie McLean.

The  10 x1 hour soap-doc provides an insider view of the lifestyles of the wealthy and extravagant women with a revealing insight into their world. The stage is set for Melbourne’s eight Housewives to deliver more high-end drama and classic one-liners as they navigate the treacherous waters of once solid friendships and test the limits of loyalty.

The Real Housewives of Melbourne for season 3 are:

Chyka Keebaugh – One of Melbourne’s most liked and well-connected housewives, bubbly, creative go-getter and mother of two, Chyka spends most of her days running from one meeting to the next as the co-owner of one of Australia’s largest, most successful and extravagant event companies, The Big Group which she built with her husband Bruce. This powerful dynamic duo’s empire also includes ‘The Design Depot’ and ‘Capital Kitchen’. Chyka recently launched her blog chyka.com, sharing all her tips about decorating, cooking, creating and basically everything ‘Chyka’.

Gamble Breaux – As a contemporary art collector and consultant Gamble loves all things beautiful. The former model believes in always looking your best, even if that means a little nip and tuck. A big dog lover, Gamble is bubbly and fun and engaged to Dr Rick Wolfe, one of Australia’s most respected eye surgeons. In her spare time Gamble enjoys creating her own artistic masterpieces and has designed her very own handbag range.

Gina Liano – Her looks, flamboyance and sense of style cannot hide her love of fashion which is a creative relief from her day job as one of Melbourne’s top barristers.   Gina is a strong, assertive single mother of two and her sisters are fashionistas Bettina Liano and Teresa (TL Wood). This busy barrister recently launched her autobiography ‘Fearless’, a shoe line called ‘Gina Liano’ , and is developing a new perfume range.

Jackie Gillies – The amazingly gifted celebrity psychic Jackie is wife of rock royalty, Silverchair drummer and Bento front man, Ben Gillies and is the youngest of our housewives. Jackie is spiritual, sassy and uber stylish. Together with her husband Ben, Jackie has been busy promoting their successful beverage company ‘La Mascara’ internationally and embarking on new adventures.

Janet Roach – Fabulous and fun is the only way to describe blonde bombshell Janet Roach.  Single and loving it, this millionaire property developer is now living life to the max re-discovering herself, her freedom and what makes her happy.  Janet is the proud mother of two sons which she calls the greatest achievement of her life. A few years ago Janet’s son Jake was badly burnt and through his recovery they were both inspired to launch a successful tea range together called ‘Raw Essentials’, which funds a charitable foundation that supports both burns patients and their careers.

Lydia Schiavello – Married to renowned architect and CEO of Metier3, Andrew Norbury, Schiavello is the quintessential ‘cosmopolitan housewife’. As well as being an accomplished hostess, interior decorator, cook and skier, Lydia is a devoted mother of six, not to mention her fashion-forward Italian greyhound, Figaro. When she’s not overseeing her household or attending to her family, Lydia’s objectives are purely altruistic – immersing herself in her role as an Ambassador to The Shane Warne Foundation. Lydia recently launched her website lydiaschiavello.com, and relishes sharing all the good things in life, or as the Italians would say, ‘la dolce vita’.

Pettifleur Berenger – Determined, feisty and glamorous, Pettifleur thrives on a life of accomplishment and luxury. She is a successful property developer, lives in a penthouse in the heart of the city and is mother to three fantastic boys. Together with her partner of nine years Frank, she has invested in a stable of elite race horses and enjoys jaunts around the world to watch their horses compete.  She recently wrote and published her first book ‘Switch the Bitch’, a self-help book aimed at inspiring women worldwide.

Susie McLean – A country girl turned Toorak Housewife; Susie exudes elegance and embodies the traditional values and good manners of her rural upbringing. Having been a fixture of Melbourne society for decades, Susie has a wide circle of friends and is President of the County Women’s Association’s Toorak branch. Susie has a natural love of sport which keeps her in shape and is also a passionate cook and baker.

Now in its third season, the series has become an international hit, screening in the UK and primetime on Bravo in the US.
