Accenture Song’s The Monkeys has launched its first major work for DoorDash, after being appointed as the brand’s main creative agency last July.
The campaign encourages people to “Smash it, DoorDash it” as part of a new brand platform called ‘Smash It’.
“They battled the servers, braved the Bottle-Os and got the nachos. Your nachos,” the narrator to the hero TVC says, “The taste of victory is at your doorstep.”
The work also stars a new visual identity for the delivery platform.
“The brief was to champion the everyday, to highlight those ordinary moments when you need something the most and it’s not within reach,” Head of Marketing Natasha Aaron. “That amongst the chaos of daily life, there’s a sense of relief that you can get what you want and need at a moment’s notice all within one platform.”
The Monkeys’ Chief Creative Officer Ant Keogh added that the agency “worked really hard to create a campaign full of memorability, to help DoorDash be top of mind for consumers when they reach for their phones.”
The campaign launched this week across TV, OOH, online, radio, and social, with the film directed by Sweetshop’s Trevor Clarence.
