The Bachelors are each ready to find love with the woman of their dreams as the show returns for its tenth season on Monday, 9 January 2023, on 10 and 10 Play.
Thomas Malucelli, Jed McIntosh and Felix Von Hofe are each going on the journey to finding their perfect match.
Felix Von Hofe, 27, Melbourne, Victoria
Von Hofe is a marketing manager and sports commentator looking for his perfect match.
The new Bachelor is a former pro basketballer who has played for the NBL and around the world, including the in the US, where he played for the University of Eastern Washington.
Von Hofe said he is not interested in the 21st-century tech-based world of dating and prefers the old fashion way of getting to know people in person.
He shared that his ideal partner is someone affectionate, who loves kids and enjoys fitness, so they can enjoy similar hobbies that involve some gym time and good old sports.
“For me, the most attractive quality a girl can have is a good sense of humour. My dream date would be anything where it ends up hurting to laugh because if we’re both laughing the whole time, then it can’t get much better,” Von Hofe added.
Jed McIntosh, 25, Gippsland, Victoria
McIntosh, drummer and songwriter of the band Mood Monroe, is hoping to find The One on the reality dating show.
While the rocker has a tough boy persona and the body art to match, McIntosh is a sensitive man with a very big heart who is proud to stand out from the crowd by being his authentic self.
The musician shared that he is looking for a woman who is confident, passionate, empathetic, and ready to commit.
Being up on stage means he gets a lot of attention and if a girl doesn’t feel secure in herself, he’s found in the past it can create problems. McIntosh said: “sometimes the reason people fall in love with you in the first place ends up being the very reason they don’t like you.”
“A woman willing to find love on a public platform is the confidence I need in a partner,” McIntosh added.
Thomas Malucelli, 35, Sydney
Malucelli is a hopeless romantic looking to fall in love with the woman of his dreams on The Bachelors.
The Sydney-based restaurant manager was born and raised in a small town outside Florence in, Italy.
After moving to the United States in his early twenties, he later made his way to Australia, which he now calls home.
While Malucelli enjoys meditation and practising mindfulness, he is also a self-confessed adrenaline junkie and outdoorsman.
The strapping is looking for a woman who is confident, honest and a great communicator.
Malucelli believes that love pushes you to open yourself up completely to another person, allowing yourself to really be seen and understood. He said: “the excitement and wonder of early love, of mutual discovery, of delighting fantasies, is magical.”
