The Seven Network has announced Sunrise’s Natalie Barr and David Koch will host the 39th annual Woolworths Carols in the Domain, airing 7.30pm Thursday, 23 December on Channel Seven and 7plus.
Kochie and Nat will be joined by a cavalcade of Australian performers in the original home of the iconic event, The Domain in Sydney.
The most awarded country music artist of all time, Carrie Underwood will perform from Nashville, and lead a cast of performers set to light up the stage, including The Voice winner Bella Taylor-Smith; ARIA Award-winning Australian singer, songwriter and actress Samantha Jade and legendary children’s entertainers The Wiggles.
After a difficult two years, the nation’s largest Christmas event will celebrate a long-awaited return to its full grandeur for the 39th year of Woolworths Carols in the Domain, including a very special visit from the man of the hour, Santa Claus.
Co-host Natalie Barr said: “Whether you are in The Domain, your lounge room or at a mate’s place, this iconic Australian event will give you an excuse to kick back, relax and celebrate.
“Everyone in the country has been affected by the pandemic. We need a night like this to all come together and revel in the Christmas spirit.”
David Koch added: “For the families throughout Australia, get ready to sing like no one else is around! We want to see the smiles on kids’ faces and feel the magic of Christmas.”
