ABC had the program with the highest lift on total TV Ratings as Under The Vines lifted 36% for 421,000.

On Nine, A Current Affair increased by 7% to deliver a total TV Ratings audience of 714,000.

Seven inched out the Friday night primary channel and network shares with 19% and 29.3%, respectively. GEM won the multichannels with 4.2%.

Seven’s coverage of Australia v Pakistan’s first test match saw 419,000 tune in on Friday night, with the end of day 2 seeing Pakistan trail by 355 runs. 

Nine’s A Current Affair saw 471,000 tune-in as the program met with people who have had their packages already stolen by Christmas Grinch parcel thieves, reporting that around one million Australians have had their parcels stolen in the past year. Nine also aired For The Love Of Pets to 243,000 as the RSPCA answered the call to find forever homes for 100 Chihuahuas, but a problem arose as the final two timid dogs needed the most attention. 

On ABC, Gardening Australia topped entertainment with 324,000, as Costa gave garden bed gifts, Jane explored a florist’s paradise, Clarence learned about Christmas beetles and Hannah met a family of berry farmers. Barry Humphries: In His Own Words also saw 295,000 tune in as the program looked back at the life and work of Barry Humphries, told in his own words from archival interviews.

On 10, 148,000 tuned into The Project and The Graham Norton Show clocked 155,000 viewers as Norton welcomed guests Julianne Moore, Ricky Gervais and Jamie Oliver. 

The highest-rated non-news program on SBS was Lost Cities of the Bible with 89,000 as the program explored what the world of Genesis was really like.

Australia v Pakistan’s first test match saw 189,000 tune in on Fox Cricket as Pakistan trails by 355 runs.

Shetland on BBC First saw 51,000 while Credlin on Sky News Live saw 40,000.
