SCA launches two new digital radio stations Easy and Oldskool, available to stream via website or RadioApp

Southern Cross Austereo has launched two new digital radio stations, Easy and Oldskool.

The two stations add to SCA’s portfolio of DAB+ stations, Classic Rock, Kinderling Kids, Triple M Modern Rock Digital, The Range and Buddha.

Easy Radio is Australia’s new place for “Continuous Easy Favourites, with No Talk.” It’s the perfect station to take it Easy too while you work, on the commute, or while relaxing on the weekend.

Listeners can enjoy a hand-picked playlist on Easy Radio, with a wide selection of hits, from a variety of artists, including Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Marvin Gaye, Adele, Lionel Richie, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Rod Stewart.

Oldskool Radio plays nothing but non-stop Oldskool Hits from the 80’s, 90’s and Noughties. Kim Wilde hosts the “Kim Wilde 80’s Show” every day at midday, featuring her favourite hits from the decade of decadence. Plus every night of the week from 6pm it’s the Oldskool Party Mix, featuring Kim Wilde 80’s at 8, and the Non-Stop Mashup.

SCA’s head of national content and development Dave Cameron said, “With DAB+’s rapidly growing audience in Australia, and as the biggest commercial landholder of digital radio spectrum in the country, SCA continues to expand its portfolio of music channels.

“The Oldskool channel is the perfect complimentary extension to the Hit Network’s incredibly successful FM music format, and Easy now provides a completely talk and clutter-free alternative for lovers of smooth music from the 60’s to now.”

SCA’s digital stations are broadcast nationally on DAB+ (Syd/Melb/Bris/Adel/Perth), online via My Easy Radio or Old Skool Radio websites and on RadioApp.
