Sandilands has come across from Mix 102.3’s Ali Clarke Breakfast Show

Shaun Sandilands has officially started his time in his new role of executive producer of Breakfast on Adelaide’s Nova 919. He has come across from Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 Ali Clarke Breakfast Show, where he had been the executive producer since January 2022.

Ahead of the show starting for the year, Sandlilands posted on socials that “I’m pretty excited to start 2023 off with an exciting new career adventure with NOVA Entertainment as the Adelaide Breakfast Executive Producer. 2022 was a big year, and I feel 2023 will be even bigger!

“I cannot wait to work with the amazing Jodie Oddy and just as amazing Andrew Hayes.”

Sandilands isn’t the only new face in the Nova 919 building. Late last year, previous breakfast hosts Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton announced that they were heading to Melbourne alongside Belle Jackson. The trio have since kicked off as Nova 100’s new breakfast show, and will retain a local show in Adelaide.

Taking the reins in Adelaide for 2023 are Jodie Oddy and sports journalist Andrew Hayes with the Jodie & Hayesy show.

At the time of the announcement, head of programming for the Nova Network, Ben Latimer, said, “Jodie and Hayesy are two much-loved and high-profile South Australian personalities, and we can’t wait to bring them to Nova 919’s breakfast show. Jodie, an exceptional broadcaster, and Hayesy, an accomplished sports reporter and announcer, know what is important to Adelaideans so will deliver a live and local show, with lots of listener interaction, every morning. The combination of Ben, Liam & Belle followed by Jodie & Hayesy will be a morning listen with a real difference for audiences in 2023.”
