ActiveTV has signed a new three-year broadcast agreement with the Seven Network for the Woolworths Carols in the Domain.
The new agreement between ActiveTV and the Seven Network reflects Seven’s long-term commitment to Woolworths Carols in the Domain, which delivers huge capital city, regional and BVOD audiences.
Angus Ross, Seven’s chief content officer, Entertainment Programming, said: “Woolworths Carols in the Domain is all about bringing Australians together at Christmas for a family night of feel-good festive fun.
“We are delighted to extend our long and successful relationship with the iconic Australian event and can’t wait to bring the festive magic to viewers with the spectacular 40th-anniversary edition on Channel 7 and 7plus later this year.”
Woolworths Carols in the Domain attracts more than 50,000 people on the ground and a national total TV audience of 1.05 million viewers on Channel 7 and 7plus in 2021.
The event will celebrate its 40th Anniversary this year on Saturday, 17 December 2022, in its original home, The Domain in Sydney.
