SBS has appointed Toby Crawford as head of presentation and promotions planning. In the newly created role, Crawford will be responsible for the end to end delivery of the SBS network’s presentation schedule.
Working closely with the head of creative services as part of SBS’s marketing division, the role will also support the head of network programming to enhance the network’s cross-promotional strategy and audience navigation across its portfolio of channels and services. He will oversee delivery of the look, feel and flow of network junctions to help maximise audience retention, and deliver a holistic and seamless brand experience for SBS viewers.
Crawford, who started his career in media planning, comes to SBS from Foxtel where he has been leading their in-house creative agency since 2013. Crawford has created and directed campaigns for Foxtel, Fox Sports and the Nine Network locally, in addition to Red Bee Media and the BBC in the UK.
Crawford will commence in the role on 14 September 2015.
