Revlon is encouraging women to embrace bold choices during the festive season in a new campaign via independent creative agency Emotive.
The campaign, an extension of Revlon’s Live Boldly brand platform, features a series of playful posters inspired by the names of individual SuperLustrous shades, such as Wine with Everything, Unapologetic, Dramatic, Berry Rich, and Shameless.
Amy Kingon Smith, head of marketing Australia and New Zealand at Revlon, emphasised the campaign’s unique approach to lipstick advertising, aimed at resonating with Australian consumers during the festive period.
Smith said, “The Revlon Festive Campaign represents an opportunity to approach lipstick advertising in a refreshing way which resonates with the Australian consumer, at a time of year where fun, tradition and expectation reign supreme.
“The light-hearted creative is a celebration of Summer Festivities, our consumers and the Revlon shade names which we hope spark some joy when out-and-about!”
Kat Topp, creative director at Emotive, said: “As someone who plans to spend her holidays being an Extra Spicy Heartbreaker with a penchant for Wine with Everything it was an absolute joy to bring to life a fresh tone and feel for Revlon that celebrates the festive spirit in a delightfully decadent way.”
The national rollout of the campaign incorporates out-of-home, social media, and digital, and launches on Monday, December 18, and will run throughout early 2024.
