QMS has announced the appointment of Tim Murphy its executive leadership team.
Murphy is a highly accomplished and respected media executive with over 16 years of experience in the out-of-home sector, most recently as chief sales officer at oOh!media.
Murphy is based in Melbourne and will join QMS in February 2024. He joins the digital out of home company in a newly created role, with more information about his role and responsibilities to be announced soon.
John O’Neill, QMS chief executive officer, welcomed the appointment. He said: “Tim is one of the best in the business. He has a proven track record of developing and leading high-performance sales teams, with a commitment to fostering excellent client relationships and delivering significant revenue growth.
“He has been a champion of the digital out-of-home sector, making him the perfect fit for QMS,” he said.
“Tim will take on a newly created role at QMS, one that will complement the strengths of our existing executive sales leaders and help shape our company for the next exciting phase of growth,” O’Neill added.
The new appointment comes after QMS was announced as one of the OOH companies showing its support to the industry and the MFA by generously provided multiple pro bono formats for its ‘We Are The Changers’ campaign. This includes large-format sites, bus and tram shelters, and screens in office buildings, to a total value of over $ 1 million. All sites are located near and within media agency offices to reach agency employees on their way to and from work.
The goal of the broad-reaching out-of-home campaign is to continue to drive awareness of ‘We Are The Changers’ with the ultimate aim of eliciting pride among media agency employees and helping them feel inspired and motivated about the work they do.
